The swimming pool and sauna at Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Club will remain closed next week.
During a routine maintenance check, a concern was identified and it was decided to close the facility. Following a review by one of our contractors, further assessments are due to be carried out, and we now await contractor availability to complete this review. We would like to reassure members that this closure is precautionary in nature and does not affect anyone who has used the facility recently.
We want to assure all members that the PSLC remains open for business as usual for all other areas, including the gym, fitness studios, sports hall, Southern Cross Bar, Après Coffee and other facilities.
The PSLC leadership team is currently preparing additional information for members, which will be published on pslc.ie as soon as it becomes available. This will include updates on timelines, memberships and upcoming activities.
We understand the disruption this may cause to members who regularly use the swimming and sauna facilities, and we thank you for your patience while this process continues.
At this early stage we are currently navigating through solutions and will update any member or swim class attendees on how their current fees will be honoured appropriately.
