Hi, my name is Cillian and I’m 9 years old.
I’ve been doing swimming lessons in the PSLC pool for a few years and was in Seals.
I wanted to set up a shop to raise money for something and I decided to do it for the PSLC roof. I gathered old toys, books, jellies and some Capri Suns. I set them up in a stand in my driveway with a poster saying “Money Raise for PSLC Roof”, with a picture of the PSLC roof getting built.
My brother Rian helped keep an eye on the shop when I was gone.
My friends and neighbours came and bought things to help raise money and people who passed by.
I hope to be back swimming in the PSLC soon.

Eight swimmers. One Destination
The Portmarnock Lane Swimmers will embark on an epic challenge, swimming from Lambay Island to Low Rock. Each swimming 9KM in open water to raise money to help reopen the PSLC pool.
